Located in Wapello, Iowa, the Wapello Market Place is Iowa’s newest market place and made its debut in April 2011. The market has grown quickly and includes a Flea Market, Craft Show, Farmers Market and Antique Show all in one convenient location. The building that houses the Wapello Flea Market was most recently the Wapello Sale Barn. Originally, the post and beam constructed building was a canning factory. You can’t beat the market’s prime location! It sits along US Highway 61, right next to the Louisa County Historical Museum and across from Casey’s and Dollar General.
Wapello Market Place is ideal for vendors because it serves an area with over 400,000 customers within an hour radius. Organizers Crystal & Kent say, “We are already getting swamped with calls for registrations for this season, and we are getting really excited about all the changes we are making!” You can find everything from crafts to antiques and collectibles, produce and more at Wapello Market Place.
The Wapello Market Place is held the 3rd weekend of every month April through October. Admission and parking is free!
