Saturday morning garage sale shopping, isn’t it fabulous? During the week you think, “I want a vintage vase that will compliment my dining room table, I’m going garage sale shopping this weekend.” Saturday comes around and I throw on my most comfortable pair of sweats and a t-shirt and I head out. With years of garage sale shopping expertise, I have seen the craziest of items. Sometimes I wonder, “why won’t these people just donate this picture frame or better yet, dispose of it!” There are though, people who are willing to buy these items.
“One Man’s Junk is Another Man’s Treasure!” Once in my neighborhood, there was this block garage sale full of stuff. You name it, it was there. I came across the coolest Alfred Hitchcock Collector’s Edition DVD set for $5! Sold! I ended up reselling it. I would say that has been the best bargain I have ever found. Another time, I took my daughter with me and she found the cutest Barbie doll carriage which she used for many years, it was in great condition. At that same garage sale, I ended up spending about 50 bucks, the most I’ve ever spent buying junk. I love it! Garage sale shopping is so much fun, especially when you’re looking for nothing in particular.
