An expert from Consumer Reports recommends “Tightwad Todd,” the guy who won’t spend a penny more than he has to, for giving expert advice on what items you can buy now, should wait for, and how to get a bargain with some buys all together. He says “you should never pay retail or list price for anything in this economic climate.” Todd also recommends, as many experts have done recently, to spend money with the gift cards given to you because you never know which store may be next to go and any money on gift cards is non-refundable.
Trends have been showing that online classifieds, auctions and related sale sites have seen more traffic and listings recently, indicating more people are selling second hand and unwanted items just to pocket some extra cash for other necessities. Whatever direction the economy goes in going forward, it’s shaping up to be an interesting and most likely busy spring season for tag sales.
