The Deal: Promise Deep Discounts
Notable Los Angeles designers — several of whom have been profiled in The Times — held a Designer Tag Sale, Saturday August 8th, organized by interior designer Vanessa De Vargas, entrepreneur Amy Swift and Vanessa Kogevinas, formerly an editor at Western Interiors and Design.
This sale promised a “high-end garage sale” where no item will be more than $200. Participating designers included Molly Luetkemeyer, Ron Woodson, Jamie Rummerfield, Lindsey Dann Miller, Paula Smail (whose cheerful textiles are pictured here), Jennifer Culp, Michelle Workman, Kelly Van Patter, Jonona Lambert and Stephanie Visser. They sold items from their personal inventories and collections including side tables, lamps, rugs, pillows, art and accessories. The designers even offered free consultations.
