It’s not too soon to start thinking about the holidays coming up, and when it comes to decorating your home, the earlier you get a jump on things, the longer you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Today we share a great feature that shows what you can do with some inexpensive secondhand finds. Enjoy!
I finished my Christmas vignette in the entryway. I always tell my friends to use the back door but now I’m going to want some front door guests for the Holiday season. I added the temporary fabric wallpaper and now some fabulous red accents to inject some personality! Every piece used is a second hand find!
For a little sparkle, I added some coarse glitter by Martha Stewart and a vintage silver reindeer to the pine cone wreath.
I’ve had the red chair for several years. I could never quite decide what to do with it. I loved the pattern of the back because it reminds me of Chinese Chippendale. It used to plain white with the white vinyl seat. As soon as the idea for the green fabric background came to me, I knew exactly what the chair should look like. The Christmas plaid taffeta that I covered it with is one of my favorites!
I used a red lamp from another room, some vintage ornaments and a trophy with a poinsettia to add some more pops of red.
