Sample Pennsylvania Dutch treats like funnel cake, corn relish, shoofly pie, chow-chow, and of course homemade ice cream! There’s fresh produce, baked goods, meats, seafood, and poultry, plants yard sculptures, new and vintage clothing, coins, stamps, toys, spices, hardware, new and used books, violins and flutes beautiful junk, hidden treasures, memories and maybe a forgotten piece of the past. Located in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, Zern’s is a trip into yesteryear…one of the oldest and largest markets, Zern’s farmers market has been on the scene since 1922 when a few roadside stands sprang up in the backyard of the Zern family in Gilberstville. Over the years, The Sale as it is fondly called by locals, has become known as the best spot to purchase fresh produce and thousands of other items. Billed as the World’s Largest Dutch Treat, Zerns is still going strong after 85 years with more than 400 merchants under one roof and people as unique as their wares.
